Another Day...Another Town

[Yue]

Life officially sucked. Iryll and Yue had to move because of "Damien," an obssessive human boy that seemed to be inffatuated with her. Yue looked out the train window as saw an old fashioned train station; she looked down at her ticket and read "Hush Hills." Another placed that they could, hopefully, start again and not be found.

Yue looked over at her sister and saw Iryll bouncing in her seat and Yue couldnt resisted letting a soft smile grace her lips. It never ceased to amaze her how Iryll could be so carefree after everything they've been through. It made Yue think of how things could have been different if their mother had actually wanted them, She shook her head 'Cant be having those thoughts now. What's done is done.'

Absent-mindly her left hand grasped the fang necklace (a gift from one of am old, and very few, vampire friends) as the train came to a slow stop and the whistle blew.

"Iryll, come on its time to go, this is our stop." Y stated, calmly getting out of her seat, grabbing her army green duffle bag, and heading off the train and onto the platform.

[Iyrll]

As soon as we got on the train i bounced my foot and wiggled in my seat ready to travel. I spent most of my time on the ride to where ever we were going looking at the forests. A lot of the trees i saw would be so fun to climb. I zoned out till I noticed the train slowing I bounced a little more sporadically itching to run and find me a good tree.

When my twin called my name, I picked up my worn army ruck sack, my excitement barley contained. 'A new town! its always always
exciting',

I hopped of the train skipping the three metal steps the the elderly women would always hobble down. They really were not suitable for them (the old women) kinda dangerous with the old birds hunched over and all, with their over sized bags.

I bounced from one foot to the other waiting for Yue where ever she was. As soon as I saw her i ran up to her , poking her shoulder I grinned "Twin tag." And I booked it towards the closted forest or clump of trees i could find.

[Yue]

After getting off the train Yue walked over to the "you are here" map and looked at all of the places.
'well there is obviously tons of room to run around.' She though absently before looking at where the bead and breakfast was located. Yue memorized the directions quickly and sauntered over to Iryll.

Yue surpressed a sigh as she noticed that Iryll was bouncing around, obviously excited about a "new olace." She felt her sister run up and poke her shoulder and a small smile graced Yue's face once again. "I cant believe that she can feel so happy in a place she's only been for a few minutes."

Feeling the energy Yue had pent up for so long she ran after her little sister, soft chuckles bubbling from her lips, they were'nt quite a full blown laugh. The chase was on and Yue was soglad that she had her sister with her otherwise this trip would have been dull and insignificant and she probably would have killed the boy, and would be sitting before the elder council in Portland for the crime.

[Iyrll]

Giggling burst through my lips as I ran passing parked cars and buses.I jumped into the forest feeling content and invigorated when I thought I lost her for at least a good five minutes.I hoped. I threw my bag down the i took off my coat and ran in another direction hoping that she would lose my trail.

[Yue]

Yue chuckled and followed the scent tail of her sister, though she didnt really have to considering Iryll's bubbly laughter could be heard from ten thousand miles away. Yue reached the forest with little effort and sighed happily. Yue then dropped her pack onto the ground and closed her eye allowing the energies of the forest to surround her being and the wind to carry Iryll's scent up into her nose. Yue jogged a bit before coming up on Iryll's discarded jacket with an irrated sigh sh though:

'Did she seriously think that would work? I would have been a nice attempt to throw me off the trail if i had not taught it to her in the first place'

Quickly sniffing at the trail yue began to formulate a plan to get her dear little sister. She followed the trail and moved swiftly so that she would be ahead of Iryll and when she was a good distance ahead yue stopped and waited for Iryll to run into her.

[Iyrll]

I tried more ways of losing her i jumped the rocks and trees avoiding making footprints then i stopped and listened. Silence. I jumped a rock and climbed a tree and waited silently.

[Yue]

With an un-ladylik snort Yue stated"I guess I have to re-teach her. She should know that an immortals arent dumb enough to fall for every-trap."
Yue wandered the woods her nose following the fresh scent trail of her sister. She absently thought about her grumbling stomach. "man I'm hungry. What i wouldnt give to have some man made sugar right."
Yue wandered around a bit more not paying to close of attention to a particular tree and was just wasting time. Well that eventually got boring so she walked up to the tree that Iryll was and and stared up at her sister for a few short moments before opening her mouth to yell up at her.

"Iryll get your arse down here we need to go to town...I want sugar." Yue mummbled the last part but she knew Iryll had heard her, At least Yue thought she did.

[Iyrll]

I giggle "No" and i stuck my tongue at her and climbed higher giggling all the way. Then I remembered. Stopping I took out some packets that i got from the train and shook them where i knew she wold be able to see them. I continued climbing and giggling as I climbed even higher .

[Yue]

Yue growled. She couldnt believe it. She just couldnt belive that her sister had said not to her. Yue paused, yes she had to admit that it wasnt the first time but it had been so long since then but yue hadnt forgotee how they became they way they were. Mostly because it was when Iryll decided to not listen to her about the stupid wolf that was sleeping. Yue growled again, It was common sense to not sneak up on a sleeping animal because that would mean that if you startled them they could attack you and you could die. Well at least the last part didnt happen but they were attacked and Yue cringed at the thought that came after that. Iryll Didnt realize how scared yue was that she was going to lose her then, there as so much blood. She shook her head, now asnt the time for thoughts of the past, they are done and over with it was time to focuse on the future.


Yue let a sigh escape her lips before turning and walking away.
"Oh well, I guess I'll have to find a place all by myself and get eaten by vampires. Hopefully I taste good." Yue hide a smile and continued walking back to where her, almost forgotten, pack was laying.

[Iyrll]

"Nein!!!" I jumped out of the tree and trailed after her... I grinned 'revenge!' and i glomped her.It was only fair at the mean way she guilt tripped me.

[Yue]

"oomph!"
Yue laughed loudly surprising herself. She hadnt laughed like that in a while. She hugged her sister tighly and happily her bubbly happy laughter ringing through the air and bouncing back into her own ears bringing forth more laughter. Yue just couldnt believe what a place like this could have done in such a short time. She didnt know why but this place felt like home, moreso than anywhere else.

"Iry! maybe this place is actually going to help! I mean I'm laughing! I havent laughed since we were eight."

Yue released her and ran around like a pup, who has finally gotten to taste their first reathe of the fresh air outside of the den, for a few minutes, stopping only because she had gotten dizzy, before regaining her composure; grabing her pack, Yue walked back towards the station only stopping briefly for her sister Iryll and continueing her way away from the trees and station towards the general store, her sister ,hopefully, was follwing her.
