History: Born to a normal life? Not so much. Twilight’s parents moved around ever few years, traveling wherever they took fancy. The young girl’s dad owned an online and offline dog obedience business. Her mother was a large animal, and wildlife vet, and wherever they moved, God forbid it be somewhere in town. Twilight’s mother owned two horses, so Twilight lived in the country for most of her life. Once a misfit though, always a misfit. Twilight never really had human friends, but she always had the animals her parents worked on, and whatever strays happened to come upon her way. This included a squirrel here and there, a stray dog, an abused horse, and an abandoned cat. The list could go on. The young Twilight was never lonely.
Twilight and her family were vacationing in northern Main one December for the holiday season. The vacation was filled with blissfull snowball fights, sled rides and everything associated with winter frolics. Unfourtunately Twilight stayed out too late one moonlit night. Twilight was attacked and bit by a werewolf. By the time her parents reached her, having been alerted by her screaming, the damage had been done. Twilight's parents stitched up the bite would themselves, and stayed one extra month in their Main vacation home. Sure enough, Twilight changed into a werewolf the next full moon, not relizing she could change at other times. Twilight was only kept from killing her parents because her intense love for them. Surprisingly, the young werewolf's parents were calm about her transformation and helped Twilight along with this new side of her.
Despite her...differences, she was exceptionally good in school, and by the time she reached fith grade, she had a solid friend. Birds of a feather flock together. They were a perfect match for one another, both being small, scrawny, and alone. Her best friend, another common misfit named Jake was usually picked on by other stronger kids. This always bothered Twilight, but…what could she do about it? One day, they were surprised attacked one full moon night by a few older, middle school boys. One restrained Twilight from getting involved, while the other two took their turns beating Jake. Screams and laughter floated together and escalated with the violence. It was going too far this time. Jake, covered in blood, was curled on the ground, motionless. Twilight screamed, fought, but with no avail. Well…it didn’t last long past that point. The boys were in for a surprise of their own. Twilight suddenly shifted into a raging wolf, defending her friend like she never could have before. The boys were sent home. Now it was their turn to scream. Unfortunately, this incident was a cause for another move.
Her life continued on, but she never made human friends since. When she came into her teen years, her parents started to worry about her loneliness. This is were Thor came into the picture. Thor was her constant companion, even riding in the car with here wherever she went, guarding her bicycle from people who might want to steal it. She graduated at the top of her class in high school, and went on to get her undergraduate in Pre Vet Med. Then continuing on that path, she graduated after eight years of college with her Veterinarian Degree. She's moved around since, collecting the odd stray dog until her pack reached four. Twilight didn't stay in one place long, she had stopped aging at 27 years old. Finally though, she did buy a house later on. Her plan was to stay there for as long as she could, then have something tragic happen to a family member, and she would have to leave suddenly. Unfortunately, it didn't work out like that. Someone saw her shift one time, and she was on the road again, were she settled in Hush Hills. While she's still on the fence about how long to stay, she's hopping this will be a permanant home. Despite she will live longer than the kids in the town now.
