Vara sat motionless on a warm wooden bench just outside the entrance to a Casey's Gas Station. After getting fed up with the thick cloud of depression that Elisabeth left in her grand parents house, Vara was ready to get some fresh are and relief. She needed both time to think and a way out of the cage that her friend absentmindedly created for her. Elisabeth's sadness over her parents recent death left Vara feeling all too compelled to stick around and comfort her friend. Hunting had soon gotten pushed out of the picture once realization kicked in that this was to be a long summer of mourning for Vara and the Coons.
Listening to the fervent tapping of a female customer's nails on the counter from in side was really starting to agitate the once patient vampire. The deep obvious sighs of frustration coming from the fed up regulars didn't help with her nerves either, never the less she waited. Once again Elisabeth was the only reason she was here, though she welcomed the chance of getting out of the house, she was only here to get a few things for her friend. She had brainstormed all night just to realize that her own compassion could not quench Elisabeth's ill content. Now Vara resulted to the petty offering of a large over stuffed bag of junk food for her friend. She new all of her favorites well, though it was a pity that she hated the thought of even chewing human food, she always got a kick out of seeing Elisabeth's delight in her favorite fattening treats.
So there she sat waiting for the new boy to finally figure out how to work the register so that she could collect her future purchases and be on her way. The managers absence did bother her a tad bit more than the nervousness brewing from the ignorant adolescent staff that was hired to do all of the work. All she wanted was a bag of doritos, a few butterfingers, a couple of packs of these odd scented round pink mints (that ony a gas station would sell of course) and a blue monster. Thinking about all of those things..it did seem like a lot for one short fragile human. Either way with the little business they got around here it would be enough to keep the paychecks going for their dwindling staff.

*in the distance off the road of the gas station there what seemed to be a sillohette of a person seemed to be walking at a medium pace towards the gas station carrying a duffel bag on his back this duffel bag seemed rather larger to be carrying with one hand with a a katana going acorss his waist on his back and a gun holstered on his right side as he got closer you coul see his face had bandages on it and that his skin color was rather pale As he got closer to the gas station he stoped puting his hand over his eyes as he squinted then he walked over towards the gas station as he got closer you could see this cold look in his eye as if emotionless, broken spirit of sorts he drops the bag on the ground with a big thud then walks into the gas station he looks around seeing a girl in there along with the gas station employee's he then walks to the fridge in teh back and grabs a bottle of water and walks up to the counter and and leaves a 5$ bill and walks out knowing the price tag only said $1.05 he walks over to his bag sits on it and slowy drinks the water and he pours a bit on his hair and he shakes his head spreading the water out of his hair as if to cool off*

Staring down at her black converse, Vara listened as the incomming stranger proceeded to the entrance of the building. Just guessing she could tell that he was tall and was carrying something heavy as he walked. She didn't look, until she was sure that he had entered the facility. Then she slowly glanced up and studied the newcomer with cynically slitted eyes. He was of her kind, that she could tell immediately though she held her self errect through her surprise. She didn't remember seeing any vampires in town when she first arrived at the begining of the summer. Suspision crept on her face as she sized him up quietly. She was as curious about him as she was cautious. It was strange the way he moved, he seemed experienced and aged. Human eyes could never recognize the age eched in this strangers face.
She internally cridged, knowing that he was an immediate threat to her humans. It was hard deciding with herself whether she should stake her territory now or hope that he was just passing through. The bench creaked as she turned back to sit and stare straight ahead little more uncomfortably as she had been before. A slight crease settled on her forehead, wrinkling her perfect complexion, as she contemplated the current danger ahead. A low gutteral growl escaped her mouth as she envisioned this immortal comming in contact with her human family. Shaking her head to release the sudden urge to threaten the stranger to leave, she let herself simmer for a moment just before the man walked right back out of the gas station's store carrying a reciently purchased watter bottle. She glanced up at him as he sat down hoping he wouldn't catch her eye.

Roland glaces over to vara, looking at her reaction to his presance. after a moment he notices a hostile reaction. As far as he knew she could be a vampire slayer, a crazy human, or a pissed off werewolf. knowing this he slides his hand down slowly towards his gun and cocks it. The clicking sound from the cocking of his gun could be herd from inside the gas station. roland wanted to avoid attention so he left it in its hoilster but keep his hand near it.
As one of the gas station employees looks out the door and looks around the area, not noticing anything out of place he goes back inside. Roland noticing the public attention if there was to be a fight he didnt want it to be here so he got up picked up his duffel bag. Roland then started walking towards town slowly; as he passes vara he keeps and eye on her and a hand on his gun.

It was only going to be an unordinary quick stop for milk since she was running low. Unfortunately, when you are a werewolf, things aren’t usually unordinary. Twilight’s aging truck puffed up into a vacant parking space in front of the gas station. Her sensitive nose wrinkled at the toxic smell of the fuel. Under the pungent scent of the gas, Twilight noticed a unfamiliar scent among the comforting scents of familiar humans. Twilight’s brow furrowed in displeasure. Apparently she had a unhuman new comer. This should be interesting, Twilight thought as she slammed the door of her truck. Rust flecks sifted slowly to the ground as the door slammed shut. Green eyes drilled the parking lot, spotting the vampire sitting on a bench. From the females stiff posture, she doubted she was very comfortable here. Twilight cut off a growl that rose in her throat. Her green gaze grilled her suspiciously. The other humans stole glances at the beautiful creature also, so it didn’t seem too out of place. The vampire could be a threat to her town, and hopefully, for her, her would accept her terms for hunting and they could live in peace.
Twilight walked into the store, past the vampire, with the confidenence that comes from being in charge. Hush Hills was on her territory, and she had the right to defend it. Besides, with all these witnesses, Twilight had no fear of attack. Hopefully that’s not what the vampire would have in mind when they noticed her. She was just here to negotiate. The milk was at the back of the store, so she had some time to think before passing the vampire again. Twilight roughly grabbed up a carton of milk and walked to the front of the store, purchased the milk, and left the station. She stopped outside the gas station front of her.
”Welcome to Hush Hills.” Twilight murmured quietly. She would be able to hear here, although most people probably wouldn’t be able to.

*roland hearing the slam of the truck door smells the scent of a werewolf. He swings his duffel bag forward and slams it into the ground but for some odd reason it didnt make a sound. roland then jumped off a tree to his right to the roof of the gas station. Roland knew there was a resident werewolf inside a old one at that, Quickly he used the sounds of her movements and her scent to get a mental image of what she looks like. Roland then reaches into a pocket on his pants and pulls out 4 small throwing knifes tied to the end of then were long strands of high tention wire wraped in silver and threw it around her vehicle. One at the end, one at the front, and one on each side. Then roland picked up the ends of the string and tied it to a pole on the roof of the building and ensureing it was tight. roland trhen quickly took out a spool of this wire and spun it around these 4 strings making a net around her car so to speak of silver wraped wire.
roland then jumped off the roof landing on the side in a silent thud. He then proceeded inside looking at twilight. he moved his hand to about were the handle of his sword is. Knowing if she is gunna attack he will be ready to protect himself. Also is this is her territory he was an invader and didnt want to be caught off guard.*

Snatching a closer look now, at the male walking past her, Vara weighed in her opponent. She would not let it come to a fight considering that she was neither in the mood for violence or had any wish for the humans here to be injured or even killed. Vara switched to her defensive mode. ' I'm never going to get home to Elisabeth in time for dinner.' Her quiet thoughts were interrupted when she caught a musty scent in the air. She never asked for this confrontation or expected it but as woman of about five feet, eight inches stepped out of her decrepit truck Vara knew that things were about to get very interesting.
A deeper sniff of the air was all it took for her to realize that the population of immortals in this town was quite a bit larger than she realized. It wasn't safe here for any human now. Though she worried about the lives of the humans here, she wasn't bothered about the danger that this werewolf could pose upon any mortal, even the present ones. She could sense that this woman's ill will was not bent towards these people, but more towards her. Vara sighed and relaxed a bit. 'Damn the nasty corks of being a Vampire.' she cursed herself as her thoughts left her on a dark note.

Twilight still looked down at the female vampire, but something silver glinting off of her truck caught her eye and she glanced up. There was something surrious about her truck, but she couldn't place it at first. Silver strands glinted in the bright summer sun. It reminded her of spider webs while she was still trying to place the unusual sight. Twilight peered closer. It looked like here was silver wire wrapped around her truck. Her truck was a big shiny bug trapped in a spider's cacoon. Now all she had to do is find the spider. Twilight took a deep breath, taking in the different scents. The scent of a male vampire drifted to her. The hairs of the back of her neck rose slightly. How had she missed that? She turned her attention immediately back to the female vampire. "Do you know him?" Twilight asked warily.

Lazily sighing Vara answered her question as soon as her head snapped back from watching the odd vampire wrap his strange silver string around the old truck." I neither know him nor want to know him." she smiled politely though that was a strain after having to inhale the rank oder of werewolf. Her nose wrinkled on her round face as she quickly turned her head from the girl in dissatisfaction. Then she smiled sweetly as she nodded at the womans rusting truck." You might want to check out what he's doing. He looks like trouble to me", her eye brows furrowed when she gestured in the direction that the man had left. Without notice Vara rose to her feet and walked into the the gas station. She needed to collect the things she was here for and get back to the Coons as soon as possible. Worry was all she did when she arrived in Hush Hills and thats all she was able to do now.

Twilight snorted in agreement at Vara's statement. The male seemed to be trouble, and nothing else. It would probably be very hard to get him on her side. Twilight turned and walked in the direction of her tied up truck as Vara got up and left her. The female seemed impatient and curt, but had a certain light in her eyes. The light of a protector. It would probably be easier to get her to agree to Twilights 'hunting precautions'. A low growl began building in her throat as she got closer to her unfortunate truck. I don't have time for this foolishness. I have better things to do then to try to unwrap my truck from this...this...crap. Whatever it is. Twilight steamed as she walked over, and examined her truck closer.

*roland then noticing that they both saw him create this web of wire around her truck sensing no danger from any of the 2 strangers he then took his katana out and cut the wire from the focal point and the wire simply unspun and went off in the wind, Roland then jumped down from the roof leaving no sound Walks up next to twilight smiles lightly and walks towards his duffel bag. He then picks up his duffel bag as he does an old wound on his upper tigh of his right leg reopens, It is a recent wound as the blood spurts out he cringes knowing that if any immortal was in the area they would sure smell it. Roland then droped his duffel bag and sat on it Looking in the side pocket for his first aid kit* "Grrr how could this happen to me now" *roland said in a low voice*

Twilight jumped back in surprise as the wire fell from her truck. The shimmery stuff floated off on the wind like a giant cobweb. Sharp green eyes watched the silver fly off for a few seconds. Movement out of her peripheral vision made her turn her head. The vampire made no noise as he hopped easily down from the roof-top, or when he walked over and grabbed a duffel bag. Twilight gave a sharp nod, only out of courtesy at his smile. It seemed the vampire was polite, to an extent of course. Polite was hardly the word to describe wrapping her truck in wire to prevent an escape in it. Still, she would try to be polite also. Rudeness would get her no were, at least it usually got her no were. Twilight was watching the vampire carefully, marking his every move, when his wound opened. The fresh blood spurted from his leg, the sickly sweet scent of a vampire mingling oddly with the smell of blood. Twilight didn't know yet if she liked the smell, but at least it helped to cover up the vampire scent. The smell burned her nose uncomfortably. Twilight didn't bat an eye at the amount of blood from the wound, it would heal quickly for the vampire anyways. Probably by the time she walked across the parking lot to him it would be healed. Twilight walked across the parking lot anyways, a non-threatening smile on her face.
"You okay?" Twilight asked, though her from her tone it was plain to see that she didn't really care about the wound. The way she stared him straight in the eyes did too.
"I'm Twilight Blakk by the way. You must be new here." Twilight said patiently. This is probably the way two humans would greet each other, and she tried to remain inconspicuous in public. Though she would quickly grow impatient of the trivial human rituals for greeting a stranger, Twilight hoped he would play along. For secrecy's sake.
