The day grew dark and dreary as the humans traveled into their house for some family bonding time. The mist started to settle on the beautiful lake after a little shower of rain. The waves of the lake rippled onto shore with the twilight dancing off it's ripples. The sky was dark purple with some pink mixed in, it was beautiful to anyone who saw it, it was Adrianne's favorite time of day. At this moment it felt as if the world was saying good night and throwing away the day that they just lived, time flies by too fast, it's hard to keep up how long it's been since you have spent Christmas with your family, or the first time you walked. It was kinda depressing in a way to know that everything is gonna start over again in 8 hours.
Adrianne sighed long and slow as she took in the beautiful scenery that stood before her, her bright green eyes glowered under the shadow of the tall tree that she stood beside, she carefully slipped her shoes of and walked up to the shore, she felt the drops of water that bounced off the little sandy beach on her her small pale foot. Adrianne carefully slipped her feet in the cold abyss of the lake. A chilling grip ran it's fingers up and down Adrianne's lake as a shiver erupted down her spine, the water seemed to grip around her ankles and hold them there while the water steadily worked to keep her frozen in that spot. Water felt so calm and relaxing, almost like a dream.

It seemed she had gotten lucky the last couple days. Twilight had been able to keep a decent tab on the immortals that had flocked to Hush Hills. The lake was a nice place for an evening romp for her dogs. Even though they had a large backyard, and woods to frolic in on occasion, nothing beat the lake. The water was cold, so swimming didn't last long. Twilight was now on a walk around the lake, dogs bounding about her with happy smiles on their faces, when she caught the scent of a female werewolf. A female! That was a first. Twilight was the only other female werewolf in Hush Hills, or so she thought. Twilight's pace increased, the dogs now scented the new comer now too. A playful bark drifted off the lake's surface.
Twilight now saw the female. She slowed her steps slightly, trying to not appear as eager as she was. Cheyene, a Golden Retriever mix, bounded forward a few paces toward the stranger. She wasn't afraid to show her eagerness. A small smile crept upon her features. The small dog pack she had accumulated over the years never ceased to make her smile at their simple ways. Dogs could charm, and love with sincerity and all without words.
Now, they were close enough to be seen and heard easily. Twilight coughed, trying to get the girls attention and waved in a friendly way. Twilight stopped a few paces from the werewolf, being respectful of personal space. "Lovely evening for a walk around the lake." Twilight stated simply. If the girl didn't notice her then, she would now. Twilight had a friendly smile on her face.

The night got cold as a thick layer of fog fell on the lake's shinny appearance, making it seem dull and dead. Adrianne quickly removed her feet from the water's cold grasp and slipped her shoes back on after smelling the approaching werewolf. The girl was a female, She greeted Adrianne warmly, "Lovely evening for a walk around the lake." she said to her, feeling respect for the werewolf she knew that this girl was the alpha of the hush hills pack, or alphess as some say. Adrianne finally caught her breath to say the simple words she uses very often, Uh, hi, I'm Adrianne. She said in a sweet voice, she knew how to treat others, her parents always taught her well, but she doesn't want to think about them right now.
Letting out a small sigh she leaned against the old bark that covered the tree and looked at the alpha, It's an honor to be standing in your presence. she admitted lightly. She shuffled her feet a little and looked out across the lake in a attempt to think things through before she says anything that might offend her. She had come here after hearing the rumor of a great pack that was being formed here in Hush Hills, and Adrianne had no where else to go, so why no be apart of something for once in her life? She hoped to find her true self after joining a pack and see how things come along.

Twilight watched the girl step out of the water and put her shoes on carefully. Not warily, but with a certain amount of fascination. Twilight hadn’t been around female werewolves much, so this girl was an interesting specimen. The new girl also showed respect in her body posture. This was nice. With the males, you had to scare the living crap out of them to get them to respect you. So many lovely surprises tonight. Ahh. Adrianne. What a beautiful name. She always relished beautiful names, since Twilight herself hated the birth name her parents gave her, and had adopted Twilight as a permanent nickname. She was also surprised and pleased at the new girls respect. It showed on her face, not the surprised but the pleased. A warm kindness emanated from Twilight’s expressive eyes.
”Thank you. I guess you know who I am then…” Twilight trailed off. Though she would rather get to the chase and straight out ask Adrianne if she would like to join Twilight’s pack, people didn’t usually appreciate that much, so some beating around the bush was required. Twilight watched her dogs welcome Adrianne as she thought about what to say next. Thor, the shepherd mix, stayed by Twilight’s side as always, but Cheyene walked forward tentatively, with the other two trailing behind her, licking their noses in submission. Another fond smile touched Twilights lips. Cheyene wagged a plumy tail in a friendly way at Adrianne. The golden could always be trusted to want to make fast friends
”You’ll have to excuse them, they love to meet new friends.” Twilight said, motioning to the dogs.
”Welcome to Hush Hills, by the way. My name is Twilight.” A friendly smile was on her face as she said this.

Adrianne was startled by the alpha's chipper attitude, she greeted Adrianne into the pack with open arms, she did not have to prove herself like most packs wanted, she was free to join the pack as she wishes, Twilight gleeful put her hand out from Adrianne to shake, and so she did, Nice to meet you Twili--- She was interrupted by some of the pack, they were dogs, no wolves? Adrianne felt big all of a sudden for she was a full blooded wolf. Both of them came up to her with out warning and started sniffing her, Yes, she smelt weird, that is because she has traveled for many places looking for a home, she had been here once or twice, but she didn't take interest till she heard that there was a pack that roamed the lands, and this captured Adrianne's attention.
Feeling claustrophobic she smiled and and chuckled, nice to meet yall to. she patted their head when she realized that she was treating them like a human would do to a dog, she quickly snatched her hand away and placed them behind her as she refocused her attention to twilight, the Alpha. i would like to join your pack Twilight, if that is ok with you and your pack. she hopped it was no big problem, it probably wasn't, but Adrianne at least wanted to get an ok from the alpha of the pack, and hopefully gain her trust.

Twilight reached out, and gave her a hand to shake. It was a human thing, to shake hands, but Twilight thought it was appropriate. While Cheyene and a terrier mix named Ajax introduced themselves in their doggy ways, Twilight took some time to look Adrianne over, looking at her overall for the first time. The girl had long, pretty red/brown hair. Skinny too, but a healthy skinny. Adrianne had a soft, feminine face. Overall very a pretty being. Twilight felt a twinge of envy, but only a twinge. Twilight was a tom-boy at heart, not much was feminine about her. She watched her dogs interact with the girl a bit longer before looking back at Adrianne when she spoke. Resisting the urge to beam at the girl, Twilight was, again, surprised and pleased by her asking the question straight out. Twilight also had to resist the urge to sigh in relief. Man, I need to work on my people skills, was Twilight’s amused thought before she replied to Adrianne’s question.
”You may join. I only have one other member…well, and another potential member. New kid, so I don’t know if he will want to join.” Twilight shrugged in an unconcerned way.
”I’ll need to know were to find you. It’s kind of busy around here now. Immortals flocking to Hush Hills. Phoenix will be happy to have some of the patrol load taken off of him.” Now that the girl was unofficially apart of their little pack, Twilight was quite open with the girl. Fast friends Twilight hoped to make with her.

Adrianne's face lit up with a smile as Twilight agreed for her to be in the pack, that is all Adrianne ever wanted, was to belong somewhere, and now she has found the place. The alpha asked where she currently lived, Adrianne's eyes narrowed as she spoke, Well, i came here today to look for a nice house for myself, so i don't know where i will live yet, but i assure you I'll inform you when i do, I'm looking at a couple of house right now. she informed, leaning off the tree she looked at Twilight and smiled, i would like to meet Phoenix, she paused, then continued, I think you should see what kind of werewolf i am. Adrianne turned around and closed her eyes. picturing herself as a wolf, the urges sent a rush through her body as her eyes switched to a silver color and she started in a run, and lept high in the air.
The transformation was not painful at all, her bones rippled under her skin as she they gridded down to a wolfish form, her eyes changed completely to their natural state. Long white fangs extended in her mouth, as white fur prickled at her skin and cover her body, last came a tail, mixed with a little bit of brown. She swiftly landed on the ground, and turned around to face twilight, Adrianne's lithe form told that she was a great runner, her long legs padded the ground as she calmly made her way up to twilight. Adrianne smiled a wolfish grin, and then looked over to the other pack members that were beside Twilight. Adrianne wondered what kind of shapeshifter Phoenix was, was he a dog like the others, or was he a wolf like her.

((OOC: Actually the dogs with her are just her pets, normal dogs :$ ))
Twilight’s face lit up with Adrianne’s. It was easy to be around the girl. It was probably going to be nice to have the female around, a relief from the constant present of male werewolves. The fact the girl didn’t have a house yet surprised her a little bit. Her first thought was to take Adrianne in. Though, then again, she was looking for a house, and had options already. Besides, don’t want her to think Twilight was being pushy or nosey. It would be nice for Adrianne to get a close house to Twilight, or at least get a house in Black Brook Place. Twilight would suggest that.
”Are any of the houses you’ve seen in Black Brook Place? That’s the neighborhood Phoenix and I live in. It would probably be the most convenient, I think.” Twilight added, making the thought hinting, but still subjective. Twilight took another close look at the girl again. A curious expression crossed her face. The girl looked just out of high school. I wonder if she has any family, Twilight thought. She was also curious about what urged the girl to come to Hush Hills. Ah well, she would probably learn the girl’s history soon enough.
After looking around cautiously to make sure no one watched the transformation, Twilight looked on at the girl’s transformation with yet more curiosity. No matter how many werewolves Twilight had seen transform, it was still an amazing thing to see. The girl’s wolf form was very lithe, speedy. It would be very helpful when it came time to run patrols. Though Phoenix wasn’t as solid as Twilight, he wasn’t exactly the slimmest of werewolves, having a good deal of muscle on him. Twilight smiled with satisfaction and pride, proud of her small pack. This included the new Adrianne, though Twilight hardly knew the girl. Although the satisfaction probably showed on her face, Twilight nodded to show it.
”Hmm. Alright. My turn now.” There wasn’t much else that needed to be said. Twilight would rather just bound off into the forest, and call for Phoenix now so that the transitioning period could get over quicker. Now that a new pack member was coming in, there would have to be a change in hierarchy. It would be interesting to see who would end out on top. Phoenix certainly had a dominant streak in him, so she was placing her bets on him. Though Adrianne could have a hidden streak of her own. Only time would tell. Twilight concentrated on her own transformation now. Fur sprouted from the pores in her rapidly changing skin. The ground suddenly came up, but with no sense of motion. Her vision was different, now looking out through the eyes of a wolf. The slightly uncomfortable sensation of transforming was mixed with an odd sense of pleasure. Twilight shook her head, which was now a wolf’s muzzle. The transformation was smooth and soon over. Twilight and Adrianne stood face to face now, both in wolf form.

OCC;; Oh, i'm sorry twilight, i got confused.
The elegant white wolf that stood proud and tall watched the transformation of the alpha, no they stood face to face, Adrianne dipped her head politely to the alpha, as she came up to Adrianne. Adrianne was a pretty white wolf with a gray face, her eyes were almost like a metallic silver, so majestic she could help but admire them. Her eyes in human form were a pretty emerald green color with little flecks of yellow. Adrianne lifted her nose and inhaled the nightly air as it engulfed around them, filling her wolf senses with taste that she has not yet tasted, the sweet smell of the pine from the trees, the sap that oozed from the needles, and the sweet aroma of the muggy night that gallantly shinned off the lake's surface. all of this fascinated Adrianne, her attention was so focused on her surroundings that she literally forgot that her future alpha was standing in front of her. Adrianne flicked her ear to the woods, she wanted to run through the dark forest, smell all the trees and leaves, see all the life that grows around them.
Adrianne sat down on her hutches and tilted her head to the dogs that filed in behind Twilight, looking a little unsure of what to expect of the new wolf. Adrianne did not like the domestic dog, they did not act like a wolf, wolves are way smarter, but humans think that dogs act like their ancestors most of the time, but from what Adrianne saw, they did not even act like the great animals that stood before them now. She knows she was being harsh on the dogs, but she didn't like the way humans prefer dogs are better than wolves.

Twilight watched Adrianne with the same intensity while she was in human form. The job was made easier by her wolf eyes though, they were sharper and more acurate then her weak human eyes. Even in wolf form the girl was pretty. Pristine white fur, and sterling silver eyes. Well if Addrianne got the grand prize for being most suited for a modeling carreer, Twilight got the prize for muscle. The werewolf yawned lazily and unthreateningly. The air was damp with the mist comming off of the lake. Tangy pine sap was in the air too. Twilight inhaled with pleasure. The smells were nice when she was smelling them through her human nose and all, but taking them in through her wolf nose was heavenly.
Twilight's sharp eyes caught the longing flick of Adrianne's ear. Large, golden eyes blinked once, then she stood. Long forelegs bent out before her, giving a big wolfy stretch. Another yawn, and Twilight was standing upright again. She was eager to run herself. Running was a rush, a very enjoyable rush. She turned to her dogs and gave a low rumbling growl for them not to follow. When she turned back to Adrianne her lips broke apart into a canine smile. With one leap Twilight was off and running toward the forest.
