At the vampire's threatening demeanor, Uyreu's posture instantly switched from casual and calm, to stricken. She leaned the tiniest bit back, and opened her mouth to reply, only to realize that speech was the last thing on her mind. At that moment, her mind was just as a blank sheet of paper, who's pencil-wielder had a serious case of writer's block.
And then, the human came to her rescue.
Ohh... So THIS is the Pheonix Twilight was talking about. Uyreu then realized she must look a bit comical, with her mouth gaping open, and aptly slammed it shut. “Ok, thanks.” Purposely sitting down on the seat furthest away from this… ‘Vara’, the young werewolf added, “My name is Uyreu.” She calmed down once she had sat on the slightly uncomfortable cafeteria seats. Now that Uyreu had found her head again, her mind had room to wander. How was it, that a vampire, a human, and a werewolf got to be friends? Or are they even friends at all? Unless the other werewolf had invented a way to ignore the stench that was falling off of the vampire, she didn't see how she could be friends with such a creature. Of course, she was dying to ask questions such as these, but if she were to be unthreatening to these immortals, she probably shouldn’t bombard them with questions the second she sat down.
